No other place offers more to see on the subject of Franz Schubert than the two Schubert museums in Hohenems. Encompassing more than 20 rooms in historical buildings, the Franz Schubert Museum and the Schubertiade Museum give a survey of the great composer's life and reception history. References to Schubert can also be found at the other museums belonging to the Schubertiade Quarter – even at the Nibelungen Museum: After its rediscovery in Hohenems, the Nibelungenlied became popular quickly and prompted Schubert's friends to give each other names from the epic poem. Important classical music artists from the 19th and 20th century and Hohenems' significant and multifaceted cultural history constitute additional thematic key aspects of the Schubertiade museums and exhibitions.

The Salomon Sulzer Gallery can be visited during the regular opening hours of the Schubertiade office and the Elisabeth Schwarzkopf Museum. The admission is free.
The exhibition at the Markus Sittikus Hall foyer is open to concert goers two hours before the performance as well as during intervals.
Admission fees
€ 7 (€ 3,50 for pupils, students and apprentices)
Ticket owners are entitled to visit all five museums as often as they wish (confined to the official opening hours) for a whole year after ticket purchase.
