Tourist Information on Schwarzenberg
Zürich International Airport (CH), as well as the regional airports St. Gallen-Altenrhein (CH), Friedrichshafen (D), and Memmingen (D) are approximately 45 to 100 minutes away from Hohenems. From there, you can continue your journey by car or by train.
By train and bus
The train stations in Dornbirn and Bregenz are located closest to Schwarzenberg and offer good connecting services. For information on train schedules and fares, please check the relevant railway operator's website:
From Bregenz, you can continue your journey with Landbus 830 directly to Schwarzenberg (approx. 50 min) or take Landbus 840 to Andelsbuch, stop »Bersbuch Kreisverkehr«, change there to Landbus 830 to Schwarzenberg (approx. 50 min). From Dornbirn, take the Landbus 870 directly to Schwarzenberg (approx. 35 minutes). The Angelika Kauffmann Hall can be reached on foot in a few minutes from the »Dorfplatz« stop. Please note that after the 8 p.m. concerts there are no public buses going from Schwarzenberg to the Rhine Valley.

Follow the autobahn A 14 and take the exit Dornbirn/Nord. At the first roundabout, take the exit in the direction of »Bregenzerwald«. Driving through the Achraintunnel, you will get to Egg. At the main intersection, take a right turn in the direction of Schwarzenberg.
For the scenic route over the »Bödele« pass, take the autobahn exit Dornbirn/Süd and drive to the city centre. From there, follow the signs in the direction of »Bregenzerwald/Bödele«.
The location of parking areas within walking distance of the Angelika Kauffmann Hall is indicated in our Schwarzenberg village map. Car park attendants are on duty before Schubertiade concerts.

A shuttle bus specially laid on during the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg operates between the neighbouring villages and Schwarzenberg, dropping off guests in due time before each concert and picking them up afterwards. For information on stops, fares and departure times, please see our info-sheet. Please note that there is no shuttle bus service for the concerts in Hohenems.
Several exhibitions and additional events staged in Schwarzenberg complement the Schubertiade's concert programme.
