CD recordings from the Markus Sittikus Hall

Over the past year, the Schubertiade has hosted several CD recordings at the Markus Sittikus Hall in Hohenems with the participation of renowned artists and record labels. 2016/17 releases include »Franz Liszt: Life, Love and Afterlife«, pianist Dejan Lazić's most recent solo album for Onyx, as well as »Stille und Nacht«, the debut recording of the young baritone Rafael Fingerlos and pianist Sascha El Mouissi for Oehms Classics. Febuary 2018 saw the highly anticipated release of cellist Kian Soltani's debut disc for Deutsche Grammophon, on which he performs works by Schubert, Schumann, and Vali with Aaron Pilsan at the piano. Additional release dates will be announced in due course.

The Markus Sittikus Hall continues to be in high demand for recording projects, which, in 2018, will include Schubert's complete symphonies and symphonic fragments with the L'Orfeo Barockorchester under the baton of Michi Gaigg (details), as well as »Winterreise« with tenor Pavol Breslik and pianist Amir Katz (details).
