»Musik & Theater« portrays Schubertiade artists

As the Schubertiade's media partner, the Swiss music journal »Musik & Theater« will accompany the festival with a series of editoral features. The first article was published in the March issue and focusses on pianist Igor Levit, wo will play a total of three concerts at the Schubertiade in 2013; the April issue portrays the string quartet ensemble Cuarteto Casals, who make their next Schubertiade appearance on May 1 in Hohenems. A festival portrait and an interview with the Schubertiade's managing director Gerd Nachbauer are to follow.

Schubertiade Schwarzenberg 2013: Cast and programme change

 
Unfortunately, Anja Harteros was forced to cancel several commitments in 2013 for personal reasons, including her Schubertiade Schwarzenberg recital on September 2, 8 pm. We are delighted to announce that in Mrs. Harteros' place, the Swedish soprano Miah Persson will make her Schubertiade debut at the Angelika Kauffmann Hall, presenting a selection of Lieder by Schubert, Schumann and Grieg with Roger Vignoles (piano) and Daniel Ottensamer (clarinet).
