kulTOUR mit Holender: Schubertiade in Hohenems

TV feature on the Schubertiade Hohenems

During the 2014 September Schubertiade in Hohenems, ServusTV produced a new episode of Ioan Holender's culture magazine »kulTOUR mit Holender«, which was broadcast for the first time on November 1.

Ioan Holender speaks with the Schubertiade's managing director, Gerd Nachbauer, and baritone Christian Gerhaher about their personal relationship with the festival, and visits the Schubertiade's museums, which are dedicated to Franz Schubert himself, the singers Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Maria Callas, as well as the record producer Walter Legge. At Hohenems' Jewish Museum, Ioan Holender discovers the past and present of Jewish life in the region.
